Wagonwheel Honey
Beekeeping started for our family as an opportunity for Mary and I to work on a hobby together. We began in 2015 with three hives when she received a scholarship through our local beekeeping club in Collin County to learn about keeping bees. Today, we have five hives, and most of the boys help too. ~ Peter
Following our annual tradition, here's Mary's yearly review on the 2023 extraction: This year's honey is a beautiful medium amber color and carries warm and buttery smooth main notes with a light mint finish. Enjoy this honey mixed in your favorite drinks, baked goods, on top of cheese, or on warm cornbread! Check out our new Honey Comb! Local Raw honey still in the comb from a chemical free hive. Perfect for that party charcuterie board or just chewing on the comb like the good ole days.
